Hi there! Thank you for visiting my blog. I’m Ali Rahimi and I am a water engineer and a project manager on a mission to demystify an industry that is so central to our health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

I am a Chartered Engineer (Australia), a Professional Engineer (Canada) and I have been working in the water industry for more than a decade alongside contractors, suppliers, and water utilities to deliver water infrastructure projects. My areas of expertise are contract management and and risk management. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMI) and a member of several organizations including Australian Water Association, Engineers Australia, Society of Construction Law Australia, and American Water Works Association.

I am a former president of Engineers Without Borders Victoria Chapter and the former Chair of the Australian Water Association Young Water Professionals committee in Victoria where I supported and advocated for emerging water professionals.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Monash University (Australia) and I am currently pursuing a law degree (Juris Doctor) at RMIT University.
